Penny Rose Coffee Co. × Imagination by Sunshine

A Residency Rooted in Community and Light

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between Imagination by Sunshine and Penny Rose Coffee Co., located in the heart of Newton, New Jersey. This collaboration marks a beautiful intersection of art and atmosphere — where creativity meets community over a cup of coffee.

Through the final months of 2025, Penny Rose Coffee Co. will host Brielle “Sunshine” Wallace as their Artist in Residence. During this special residency, visitors can experience The Landscape Series in person, including the debut of Fortress — a new, emotionally rich piece that can only be viewed on-site.

Welcoming Reception at Penny Rose Coffee Co. ✨

The opening event was a heartfelt success. The evening was filled with meaningful conversation, laughter, and connection — and even celebrated the first sale of the residency!A special thank you goes to Rick Mullin (@rick.mullin3), an extraordinary artist and collector, for acquiring Brielle’s plein air painting Landscape. And a warm thank you to Sam (@pennyrosecoffeeco), the creative force behind Penny Rose, whose kindness and vision have made this partnership shine.

Brielle shared:

“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself further in the community and spread light wherever I can.”

The event was a reminder of how art builds bridges — between strangers, spaces, and shared stories. Family, friends, and fellow artists gathered to celebrate the start of this new chapter, surrounded by the aroma of espresso and the warmth of genuine connection.
